Avisford House - Arundel, West Sussex
"He captured the most amazing shots and we were stunned how he managed to capture so many special moments without us hardly noticing him there. When you go through the pics it's like a story of the day, almost like a video. We have 5 children and find it so hard to get a photo of them altogether but he managed to get them in all sorts of shots, running, playing and also a nice pose around a tree. We cannot thank Lloyd enough for giving us these memories that we will be able to treasure and never forget our special day."
Steve and Louisa
I had the pleasure of being the photographer at the wedding of Louisa and Steve at the picturesque Avisford Park Hotel and Golf course in Arundel, a venue that Louisa accidentally discovered after a speed awareness course - little did she know at the time that it would ultimately become the venue for her wedding day! Their day can only be described as a true love story. The two had met years before, only for their lives to take two different directions. After raising their own families, the pair were finally reunited, bringing together their total of 5 children along for the ride. The culmination really made for a fun-filled day, with the kids enjoying the beautiful grounds and sunny weather, while the guests celebrated the union of two very special people. While Louisa prepared for the day in a suite at the hotel with her bridesmaids and daughter Harriet, Steve got ready at home and arrived with his best man and twin sons, Louis & Bradley. Louisa was later joined by her sons Edward and Alfie as the remaining guests arrived and were greeted by Steve downstairs. The ceremony took place in the Terrace room, with each of the children taking an active part in the ceremony by walking down the aisle and giving some great reactions throughout (including a cheeky shot of little Alfie looking surprised!). Fun and games were to follow on the terrace patio with a game of giant chess and the kids running around on the grounds, while everyone congratulated the bride and groom. The Ballroom was the opulent setting for the wedding breakfast, followed by the speeches, including a hilarious turn from the best man and an emotional thank you to everyone who helped make the day special; including special treats for all 5 of the children, resulting in hugs-all-round. The party really started in the evening reception, with more guests arriving for the cutting of the cake and the first dance, while the kids made use of the dance floor by sliding across it on their knees in true style. It goes without saying that this incredibly fun day was made so by the coming together of two families, and I hope you'll agree that the love that they share for one another is evident in the photos.
