Burley Manor Wedding Photography
Burley Manor Wedding - You’ve got to love a summer New Forest wedding, and the wedding of Kelly and Scott did not disappoint, with gorgeous summer sunshine beaming down throughout the day, set in the grounds of the stunning Burley Manor Wedding Venue. The great weather was accompanied by great personalities, as both the bride and groom and their guest spent the day grinning from ear to ear, thoroughly enjoying one another’s company, which I am sure you’ll see from the wedding photos!
As Kelly and the bridal party prepared at her and Scott’s home in Fareham, Scott and his groomsmen had spent the night at their Burley Manor wedding venue and were up early to enjoy the weather before starting to get ready. Meanwhile, Kelly’s bridesmaids made sure to capture every aspect of the day with their action-cam at the ready! Queue the tears from everyone as Kelly revealed her beautiful dress, including an amazing pair of Christian Louboutin Shoes, to everyone including the neighbours who watched on as she made her way to the vintage Rolls Royce car, her transportation for the day.
An emotional Kelly had to re-do a bit of her make-up upon arrival at the New Forest wedding venue, but she still looked impeccable as she made her way down the aisle. Scott and his young son, who was also his best man, both looked absolutely delighted when Kelly entered the beautiful barn at Burley Manor. From that point onwards, the smiles didn’t stop all day!
The beginning of the wedding breakfast was accompanied by a very talented live singer, who sang big-band songs as the guests tucked into the feast! At one point, the grandparents decided to take the opportunity to dance together to some of their favourite songs as the guest watched on – a wonderful testament to the longevity of marriage and making the most of romantic opportunities like this!
Soon we were onto the speeches, which moved many of the guests to tears. But the best men speeches were a highlight of the day, which included a Mr. Potato Head prop as a comparison to Scott and Dad-dance-move impressions that nearly bought the house down!
We then stole Kelly and Scott away for a bit of New Forest Wedding Photography, making the most of the gorgeous evening light, the opulence of the manor and beauty of the natural surroundings. The evening was a treasure trove of fun and games as the guests enjoyed a casino and photo booth in the marquee and the fun really got started when everyone descended onto the dance floor after the first dance.
I really do feel lucky to be a Hampshire wedding photographer on days like this. When the sun is shining, and you are surrounded by people who are there to celebrate the coming together of two wonderful, fun-loving people, it’s hard to call it ‘work’. Kelly and Scott made the most of their big day by making it as fun for everyone else as they did for themselves. Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day guys, and I hope you loved the photos as much as I enjoyed spending the day as a New Forest wedding photographer!
