Rookesbury Park Wedding Photographer
“…Oh, and before we get to Rookesbury Park Wedding Venue could stop off for some photos with our little furball that would be great!”. During my time as a Wedding Photographer, I have had a lot of interesting requests – and I was intrigued and relieved to discover that the ‘furball’ in question was Dan and Sarah’s pet rabbit!
My second photographer Megan and I started the coverage at the bride and grooms prep locations and captured the morning’s activities in turn. Having a second photographer is a great way of making sure that you don’t miss out on what the groom is getting up to on the morning of the big day. It was great to shoot Dan, who was calm and collected all morning.
Wedding venue Wickham
My highlight of the morning had to be the moment Sarah, the bride, revealed her beautiful wedding dress to her bridesmaids just before setting off for the Ceremony. Queue tears! And I always think that it’s the small touches that make a wedding day unique, like Sarah’s incredible Cyan Blue high-heeled shoes, that really stood out throughout the day!
Wedding Reception at Rookesbury Park, Wickham
Rookesbury Park, Wickham, was once a private school, and is now a stunning Wickham wedding venue. While awaiting Dan and Sarah’s arrival, the guests were entertained with a group of saxophone-musicians, which the couple had discovered when they spotted them busking one day and hired them on the spot - it created a great atmosphere for nibbles and group photos!
The Mother of the Groom speech was one of the funniest to date – Just look at the reaction from the crowd to see how much fun they were having! My style of Documentary Wedding Photography really lends itself to times like this, when I can capture real moments and real emotions, creating memories for the bride and groom to look back on!
Weddings Wickham
It was a pleasure to shoot this Rookesbury Park wedding, mainly because Sarah and Dan made it easy – they radiated happiness all day and were really up for any ideas I had to utilise the beautiful Wickham wedding venue – I particularly love the shots outside of the manor house. A big thanks to them for allowing me to explore venues for cool features, making for some really interesting photographs!
